• Wild camping is partially allowed, but can be fined if you camp in natural reserves or you are inhibiting others with your camping activities.
• We advise visiting campsites. This contributes to the local economy and prevents the degradation of nature.

• We recommend to install app Park4night where you can find all campsites nearby you with pictures, comments and most of the times with prices information.

• The regular check-in time is at 15:00. However, if there are no previous bookings, we may be able to provide you with the car earlier. We will inform you about this possibility one day before your arrival, and there are no extra costs for this.
• If you arrive early at Faro Airport, you can take bus number 16 (Faro-Airport-Beach) directly from the airport to the city (Faro) or to the beach (Praia), which costs €2.50 per person. Alternatively, an Uber or Bolt ride costs around €5. We will let you know as soon as your van is ready!

• You can reach us at 00351 920301044. Depending on the issue and your distance from Faro, we will decide how to proceed.
• If it’s a simple problem, we’ll contact roadside assistance to fix it on the spot or search for a nearby mechanic.
• For more complex issues, we will work to find a solution for you based on your distance from Faro. We have one replacement vehicle (Atlantic camper) prepared for such situations. Alternatively, we can provide a refund for the remaining days. We will do everything we can to make the situation as convenient for you as possible.

You need to:

1. Have a driving license valid in EU.

2. Present an identification document: passport or European identification card.

3.1. Hold a driving license for at least 3 years.

3.2. Hold a driving license for at least 1 year and have some driving experience. In this case, you will need to take “Young driver” insurance option.

• The easiest way to look for a rental car is to search on platforms such as https://www.rentalcars.com/ or https://www.billiger-mietwagen.de/.
• In Faro, the cheapest rental car starts at ~8€/day in the winter and ~25€/day during summer. We recommend to book at least a medium sized car to have sufficient space for two persons.
• Note: If you also want to book with us surf boards, you need to have a car with five doors OR 4 windows that can be oppened! This is for fixation of the boards in the roof top of the car. Stand-up paddle can be transported easily inside the car.

The security deposit will be blocked on your credit card. Depending on your insurance package, you need to ensure you have enough coverage on your card. After you return the car or equipment, the security deposit will be released. Please note that depending on your bank, the deposit may be only available after some hours or days.

Self-check-in is available if you want to pick up your campervan after 18h00 until as late as you wish.

Conditions: Security deposit must be paid 3 days before your arrival by bank transfer.

How it works:

• The campervan will be parked at our shop near  the airport ready for you.
• We will let you know  where to pick up the key for your car.
• We will send you detailed information about how it all works, where to sleep and other tips about self-check-in.
• If you want to rent surfboards or wetsuits, or if you have any questions about campervan, you can pass by our shop the next day.
