Portugal is close to ideal for a first campervan trip. Distances are short, so you are rarely more than a couple of hours from the next beach. The roads are good, campsites cost a fraction of a hotel room, and the weather stays mild enough that a January morning on the coast is genuinely pleasant.
Our vans are small on purpose. They drive like a normal car, park in an ordinary space, and fit under the two metre barriers that keep larger motorhomes out of the best coastal car parks. You can get down the narrow lane to the beach that a six metre motorhome has to reverse out of.
We specialise in small campervans: easy to drive, easy to park, and cheap to run. If you need room for three, the Bohemian gives you a bigger bed and more space. Either way, everything you need is already in the van.

Everything for sleeping, cooking and washing. Bedding and towels, a full kitchen kit with gas, pots, plates and cutlery, a table and two chairs, a fridge or cool box, a solar panel, an 80 litre water tank with an outdoor shower, and a cleaning set. You bring clothes and food.

Faro or Lisbon-Montijo. In Faro we are at Rua Aquilino Ribeiro 124, 2 km from the airport. Lisbon-Montijo is across the river from the city, about 25 minutes from the centre. Starting in one and finishing in the other is possible, subject to availability and a one-way fee. Compare the two locations.
Yes. The Oasis Automatic is the same van as the Indigo with an automatic gearbox. It is popular on the hilly west coast, and it books out early in summer.
A physical driving licence, valid in the EU and held for at least one year on the day of check-in, plus a passport or European ID card. A digital licence or a photo of one is not accepted, so bring the card itself.
You need one full year of driving experience on the day of check-in. Drivers under 23 must add the Young Driver insurance option, which you can do when you book or at check-in.
