Deductible: € 1,500 for a small camper or 2,000€ for a big camper. One driver allowed, mileage included 200 km per night.

If you cause an accident through your own fault, the Basic insurance pays for damage and injuries to the other party involved in the accident. However, you have a € 1,500 – € 2,000 deductible. This means you have to pay for damage on the rented vehicle up to € 1,500 – € 2,000 yourself. Likewise, if the car or parts are stolen, you are liable up to € 1,500 – € 2,000.

• Example 1: The damage is € 1,000: you have to pay € 1,000.
• Example 2: The damage is € 4,000: you only have to pay € 1,500 – € 2.000; we will take over the remaining payment.
• Example 3: Someone else causes an accident and assumes him/herself guilty, while your innocence is proven: You pay nothing.
• Example 4: If you rent for 7 nights, you can drive up to 1400 km, additional kilometres costs € 0.25.

Deductible: € 400 for a small camper or 500€ for a big camper. Two drivers allowed, mileage included 300 km per night, and includes tyre and windscreen protection.

• Example 1: You got a broken windscreen during your trip: You pay nothing.
• Example 2: The damage is € 1,000: you have to pay € 400 – € 500. The remaining payment is covered by us.
• Example 3: If you rent for 7 nights, you can drive up to 2100 km, additional kilometres costs € 0.25.

€ 200 deductible, two drivers allowed, mileage included 400 km per night, windscreen and tyre damages are covered, zero excess for damages.

• Example 2: The damage is € 1,000: you have to pay nothing. The remaining payment is covered by us.
• Example 3: If you rent for 7 nights, you can drive up to 2800 km, additional kilometres costs € 0.25.

This insurance is mandatory for drivers who have less than 23 years old. However, to book with us, you must have held your driving license for at least one year at the time of check-in.

We also advise that you only book a camper if you have driving experience and confidence behind the wheel. Please keep in mind that Portugal has a high volume of traffic and can present challenging driving situations.
