Yes, 2 km, which is about 5 minutes and roughly €6 by taxi, Bolt or Uber. There is no airport shuttle, so you make your own way to our base. If you would rather pick up and drop off the van yourself at Faro Airport, that is available for €49.

Yes, and the drive times are the reason. Praia de Faro is 10 minutes away, Tavira 35, Benagil about 50, Lagos an hour, Sagres an hour and a half, and the wild Costa Vicentina about an hour and twenty over the hills. You can see the whole Algarve from here without a long day at the wheel.

Yes, in both directions, subject to availability. The one-way fee is €300, which covers bringing the van back to its home base.

On a trip of ten days or more it usually pays for itself: you drive the country once instead of doubling back, and you finish where you actually want to finish.

All our campervans in Faro are fully equipped with kitchen essentials, bedding, camping table and chairs. Specific equipment varies by model, so contact us if you want to check what a particular van has.

Collection any time from 14:00 on the day your rental starts, return any time up to 11:00 on the day it ends. Check-ins from 17:30 are free self check-ins with no late check-in fee; early returns are free too.

Landing after midnight? Choose 24:00 or later as your pick-up time in the booking form; the earliest return time is 04:00. If your flight falls outside that window, book the nearest slot and message us.

About 30 minutes. We walk you through the van, show you how the bed, kitchen, fridge, water and gas work, go through the paperwork and answer whatever you want to ask. You leave with our number.
